A little history

A few oldtrepreneurs with a combined 45 years in the publishing technology industry got together and decided to tackle a few problems giving them and their customers pain.

First, printed or offline content has some great advantages (easy to use, ubiquitous, requires no batteries, simple, easy to transport, and easy to read).

But, offline content has some problems too. Not easy to find later, not easy to share with many friends, impossible to search within, and if you save it too long, you have clutter.

So these oldtrepreneurs created a simple way to bridge the gap between offline and online, using text messages.

Consumers can now save, search, and share content they encounter offline, to a personal online archive, by texting a little code that is related to the content. This works for something as simple as a business card, to something as complex as a great magazine layout, or video walk-through of a home for sale.

Publishers can measure how many consumers are saving and sharing their offline content, just like they would be able to with their online content.

Advertisers can tell which ads in a campaign (magazine ad, direct mail piece, TV ad, billboard, radio ad, bus ad) are being saved and shared the most.

Businesses can offer special discounts and offers to consumers who opt-in to their text message lists, and can replace printed coupons with digital coupons.

Everybody wins!
